Abstract

The role of marriage motivations in the stability of family relationships has been increasingly discussed in contemporary psychological research, especially concerning youth. The psychological factors influencing young people's motivations for marriage are crucial for understanding how these motivations shape the dynamics of family life. This article explores the social-psychological characteristics of marriage motivations among youth and how these factors impact the strength and longevity of marital bonds. Through examining various motivations for marriage—emotional, social, and economic—this article highlights the psychological processes that affect the stability of family relationships, as well as the social and cultural context within which young people form these motivations.
