Monosemy and polysemy are among the most discussed topics in linguistics. The changes taking place in the life of our people were manifested primarily in vocabulary. These changes include the naming of newly introduced concepts and the choice of words to express them. Experts consider the phenomenon of ambiguity as a natural reaction of linguistic socialization to the overpopulation of language. Ambiguity is usually based on the presence of a meaningful relationship between the meanings in the semantic content of a lexeme.
