One such approach that has gained widespread popularity in recent years is task-based learning (TBL). Task-based activities center around the completion of specific tasks that simulate real-life situations where language is used for communication. These tasks emphasize practical language use rather than merely focusing on grammatical forms, offering learners a dynamic and engaging way to learn English. This essay explores task-based activities, their usage in English learning lessons, as well as their advantages and disadvantages.
