Z.D. Abralova ,M.Saidahmadova , TDPU,Abstract
The credit-module system is a widely used approach in higher education, providing flexibility and structured academic orientations for students. This system allows students to earn credits through assignments, projects, and exams and determines their academic achievement. Effective assessment methods are essential to assess student performance and ensure that they have the necessary knowledge and skills in their specialties. This article analyzes the various assessment techniques used in the credit-module system, including formative and summative assessment, self-and peer-assessment, and competence-based assessment. Challenges related to the assessment process, such as overruns, subjective assessments, and workload management, are also discussed, and evaluation criteria, technology integration, and continuous feedback are proposed as ways to address them. By improving assessment strategies, higher education institutions can support student-oriented education and skill development by providing a fair and integrated assessment system.
