Modern teaching of the Russian language in the context of digitalization and changing educational standards requires the renewal of the teacher’s methodological toolkit. This article examines current methodological approaches that contribute to increasing student motivation, developing functional literacy, and enhancing communicative competence. Particular attention is paid to interactive, activity-based, and digital technologies, the integration of interdisciplinary connections, and the development of critical thinking.
