this article explores methodologies for the development of communication and speech using the example of grades 5-6 in the tiflopedagogics direction for visually impaired children. The article analyzes the importance of improving communication and speech for blind students, the necessary methodologies, educational technologies and ways to improve the skills of educators. Methods for monitoring community collaboration and speech development have also been considered. As a result, ways to improve the social adaptation and communicative abilities of students of this age are proposed.
