Abstract

Assertive speech acts are an essential component of human communication, serving as one of the key means by which individuals convey information, beliefs, and opinions. This article investigates the linguistic and cognitive dimensions of assertive speech acts, focusing on their role in communication, their structure, and how they influence interactional dynamics. By examining these elements, we aim to shed light on the cognitive processes underlying assertive speech acts and the linguistic mechanisms employed in their production and comprehension.
