This article analyzes the negative impact of industrial activity, which is one of the main sources of air pollution in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It highlights the harmful substances emitted into the air by large enterprises in the oil and gas, chemical, and metallurgical industries, as well as their dangerous consequences for the environment and health. The most polluted areas, the environmental measures taken by the government, and their effectiveness were also discussed. The article emphasizes the need to maintain an important balance between industrial development and ecological balance.
