THE DEVELOPMENT OF ADVENTURE TOURISM INFRASTRUCTURE IN UZBEKISTAN: CURRENT STATUS AND FUTURE PROSPECTS
Suyunova Durdona Ulug’bek qizi , “Silk Road” international university of tourism and cultural heritage Master’s degree studentAbstract
Over the past few years, I’ve personally seen how adventure tourism has started to gain more attention in Uzbekistan. More and more travelers are now looking for real, hands-on experiences in nature rather than just sightseeing. This shift reflects a global trend, but in Uzbekistan, it also opens up big opportunities. I noticed beneficial improvements like eco-lodges and hiking trails while visiting the Tien-Shan and Nuratau mountains. But there are still issues, such as inadequate road access, a lack of public transport, and inadequate safety services. Additionally, there is a lack of international awareness of these areas, which suggests that more promotion is required. This essay addresses both the areas that require improvement and the current state of progress. Uzbekistan can establish itself as a premier adventure travel destination by making strategic investments in community involvement and infrastructure.
