This article analyzes the grammatical differences between formal and informal style. Formal style is usually used in academic, legal, and business settings and requires clear, concise, and strict grammatical rules. Informal style, on the other hand, is used in everyday communication, conversations with friends, or on social media, and is more relaxed and personal in its expression. The article discusses the characteristics of both styles, including word choice, syntax, punctuation, and stylistic elements. While formal style tends to use more complex sentences, formal words, and terminology, informal style tends to use simpler, more understandable expressions, as well as metaphors and generally more emotional language.
