
THE IMPACT OF UNHEALTHY EATING HABITS ON HUMAN HEALTH

Unhealthy eating habits have become a major public health concern in the 21st century, contributing significantly to the global rise in chronic non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular illnesses, obesity, type 2 diabetes, and certain cancers. This article examines the underlying causes and consequences of poor dietary behaviors, emphasizing the role of modern food environments, socioeconomic disparities, and behavioral factors in shaping nutritional choices. The findings underscore the urgent need for coordinated efforts across healthcare, education, and food systems to address the health burden posed by unhealthy diets.
