This article examines contemporary approaches to developing leadership competencies among general education institution leaders. Based on literature analysis, innovative methods and strategies for enhancing educational leaders' leadership capabilities are analyzed. The study explores modern approaches such as transformational leadership, digital leadership, and collaborative leadership. The results indicate that comprehensive development of leadership competencies is essential for improving educational quality and ensuring institutional effectiveness.
