Abstract

Historical narration plays a pivotal role in shaping tourists’ experiences and their engagement with cultural heritage sites. Different narration styles—ranging from factual and formal to dramatic and interactive—affect how visitors perceive history, connect emotionally, and retain information. This article examines the impact of various historical storytelling approaches on tourist engagement, highlighting the importance of narration techniques in enhancing educational and experiential outcomes. It underscores the need for tailored narration methods to meet diverse audience expectations and promote meaningful cultural understanding.
