TRAUMA, PATHOLOGY, AND POSTMORTEM CHANGES IN BONE AND MUSCLE: FORENSIC IMPLICATIONS

Abstract

The study of altered bone and muscle tissue plays an essential role in forensic medicine, particularly in the determination of trauma mechanisms, postmortem interval, and causes of death. This article reviews the forensic significance of pathological and traumatic changes in skeletal and muscular structures. Special emphasis is placed on morphological alterations, histological findings, and their diagnostic value in forensic investigations. The analysis demonstrates that bone and muscle tissue alterations serve as critical evidence for reconstructing the circumstances of injury and evaluating the vitality of lesions.
