Shukurova Shohsanam Qakhramonovna,Rustamova Raykhona , UzSWLUAbstract
The article examines the significance of incorporating real-world situations into English Language Teaching. It chronicles the evolution of grammar-focused methods to communicative and context-driven approaches, highlighting how authentic settings improve learners' communicative ability, intercultural awareness, and motivation. Using examples from recent educational resources and theoretical views, the study contends that training students for real-life communication is critical in an increasingly globalized and digital society. Exam pressures, limited resources, and teacher training are all addressed, providing ideas for more effective implementation. The article concludes by emphasizing the necessity of integrating real-world contexts into ELT to enhance learners’ communicative competence and intercultural awareness.
