This article analyzes the scientific research of Academician Yuriy Fyodorovich Buryakov dedicated to the study of the archaeological monuments of the Tashkent oasis. It examines the methodological approaches applied, the historical conclusions drawn from archaeological sources, and the scholar’s role in historiography. In addition, the article evaluates Buryakov’s scientific legacy and his contribution to the study of the history of the Tashkent oasis.
