PROBLEMS IN TEACHING PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS

Abstract

This article analyzes the main problems in teaching phraseological units to foreign language learners. It highlights semantic opacity, cultural differences, structural peculiarities, and methodological issues with examples. Suggested solutions include contextual teaching, comparative analysis, multimedia use, and task-based learning.
