SYMBOLS RELATED TO NATURAL PHENOMENA IN FOLK PROVERBS

Abstract

This article analyzes natural phenomena in paremias, particularly objects that serve as emblems for the seasons. The participation of ornithonyms such as stork, goose, crane, and swallow as symbols of seasons in folk proverbs and their significance are emphasized.
