COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF FASHION BLOGGING IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK CULTURES: A PRAGMALINGUISTIC PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

This study examines the pragma linguistic features of fashion blogs in English and Uzbek cultural contexts. Social media has transformed the fashion industry, turning blogs into influential channels for style expression and consumer engagement. By analyzing a selected corpus of English and Uzbek fashion blogs, this research investigates linguistic strategies, discourse markers, and engagement techniques. The results indicate cultural differences: English blogs often employ casual, interactive, and humor-driven language, while Uzbek blogs emphasize formality, politeness, and culturally resonant expressions. These findings contribute to understanding how language and culture intersect in digital fashion communication and offer insights for cross-cultural marketing and online discourse.
