This article analyzes the linguistic and methodological foundations of teaching Russian in multilingual environments. It focuses on the interaction between linguistic systems, the influence of native and intermediary languages, and the role of modern teaching methods. The study highlights the importance of communicative and intercultural approaches, linguistic competence formation, and the integration of innovative technologies. The paper concludes that effective teaching of Russian in multilingual contexts requires methodological flexibility, cultural sensitivity, and a deep understanding of linguistic interference and bilingualism.
