PRACTICAL STUDY OF A LONG-PINNED DRUM RETAINING FABRIC INCLUSIONS DURING COTTON CLEANING

Abstract

The article discusses the causes of fabric and film inclusions in raw cotton and proposes a design of a long-pinned drum that ensures their effective capture during the cleaning process. Laboratory and industrial tests have shown the high efficiency of the proposed device while maintaining the quality of cotton fiber. The results of experimental studies, tables, and a comparative analysis with existing cleaning mechanisms are presented.
