| Open Access | THE POSSIBILITIES OF THE STEAM APPROACH IN DEVELOPING ENVIRONMENTAL CULTURE

This article explores the theoretical and practical possibilities of using the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) approach in the formation of environmental culture among students. Based on constructivist, system, and humanistic theories, the study highlights how interdisciplinary learning promotes ecological awareness, creativity, and responsibility. The research also examines the relevance of the STEAM approach to Uzbekistan’s educational reforms and national strategies such as the “Uzbekistan – 2030” Strategy, the Law “On Education” (2020), and the Law “On Environmental Protection” (2021). The article concludes that the STEAM framework serves as an innovative pedagogical tool for developing environmentally conscious, creative, and competent individuals ready to contribute to sustainable development.
