Parasitic diseases among preschool children, in particular, combined forms of ascariasis and giardiasis, remain one of the most urgent health problems. This article analyzes the pathogenesis, prevalence, clinical similarities and differences, diagnostic methods and preventive measures of these two infections. The article also provides recommendations for early diagnosis and strengthening preventive measures.
