| Open Access | MULTI-MEDIA AT DIFFERENT STAGES OF TEACHING ENGLISH AT SCHOOL
Mamaziyayeva Gulhayoxon Ilhomjon qizi ,Abstract
This study investigates the use and effectiveness of multimedia tools in teaching English at different school stages, including primary, middle, and high school levels. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining questionnaires, classroom observations, and semi-structured interviews with 120 students and 15 English teachers. The results demonstrate that multimedia integration significantly enhances student engagement, motivation, and language skill development. Stage-specific patterns were observed: primary students benefited most from audio-visual content and gamified activities, middle school students from interactive and collaborative tools, and high school students from advanced multimedia applications such as digital storytelling and simulations. Challenges such as limited access to technology and insufficient teacher training were also identified. The study highlights the importance of pedagogically sound multimedia use tailored to developmental stages, offering valuable insights for educators, curriculum developers, and policymakers.
