Abstract

"Woven Legacies: The Journey of Silk-Cloth Weaving Among the Mon-Khmer Ethnic Group in Lower Isan" is a comprehensive study that traces the historical, cultural, and socio-economic evolution of silk-cloth weaving practices among the Mon-Khmer ethnic community in the Lower Isan region of Southeast Asia. This research explores the intricate techniques, patterns, and the cultural significance of silk-cloth weaving, shedding light on its transformation over time and the preservation of a rich cultural heritage. By documenting the dynamic journey of this craft, the study seeks to contribute to the broader understanding of textile traditions and cultural preservation in the region
