As India emerges as a promising player in the global wine industry, this study delves into the challenges and opportunities surrounding grape cultivation and wine production in the country. With a focus on unraveling the potential of Indian vineyards, this paper offers a comprehensive analysis of the current state of the wine industry, identifying the obstacles and prospects that lie ahead. From exploring the unique terroir of Indian soil to addressing regulatory constraints, the research presents a holistic view of the journey from grapes to glasses. By examining the socio-economic impact and market dynamics, this paper aims to provide insights for stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and policymakers in fostering the growth of the Indian wine sector.
